ORGANIC LIVING

Experience organic dining with us from dusk to dawn. We provide fresh food from our own garden & farm. A healthy morning with Ladakhi butter tea or freshly brewed coffee with locally baked bread and butter.

NOMADIC JOURNEY

In the southeast of Ladakh, lies the expansive Changthang plateau and here live the nomadic pastoral tribe ‘Changpas’. The Changpas live at an average altitude of 14,600 feet. Life for these nomads is an unending caravan, with people moving from one place to another along with their cattle and other belongings, to set up makeshift shelters in this exotic landscape.

MONKHOOD JOURNEY

Although one does not have to be ordained as a ‘Monk’ to follow the path of the Buddha, the monastic life can be most conducive to the practice of meditation. It is a life relatively free from the worry of worldly cares and distractions. One has the opportunity and environment in which to live a life-style that the layman cannot experience.
